This year’s Ramadhan is definitely one for keeps – for a long long time.
It all began in Egypt.
Which of course, I had to fly back to UK, to unpack, repack and experience the 19 hours of fast.
So I transited in Istanbul for a bit. I still fast while I was there, so they deserve a spot here, hehe.
Back in England.
Much love and respect to my sisters and brothers in faith for fasting 19 hours and more. May Allah reward you in abundance. 🙂
Then….
The loooooong ride home. 3759 miles was only the second leg of flight from Dubai.
Alhamdulillah for reaching home safely!
But of course… Within 5 days, I hopped on the Airbus and land myself in Jakarta.
My second time in Bajai Taxi. The first was years ago! How time flies…
Egypt ✈️ Turkey ✈️ England ✈️Dubai ✈️ Singapore ✈️ Jakarta ✈️ Singapore
It’s been extremely tiring for my body especially since all countries are in different timezones! Man…. Now that I think about it, it’s no wonder that I’m sleepy all the time.
All in all, Alhamdulillah for this opportunity. It’s been rewarding seeing familiar faces and knowing you have a space in different places.
How Ramadhan will be for me next year? I don’t know.
I just want to be grateful for the present.
