Taste of home

Few weeks ago my brother was the most spiteful person on earth. Beeping me with his purchase and texting me one and a half hour before the post office open, on a Saturday, to mail his stuffs…Oh boy am I glad those days are over. Phewww!

Extorting a bag from him next year. Totally.

But the point is, the ayam lemak cili padi. I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE that particular malay dish.

Got most of the ingredients and the one thing that I couldn’t get was serai (lemongrass).

I finally found it in the indoor market at £1.35 a bunch. What a rip off!!?? I found it in the oriental shop for only £0.95, once again, a bunch.

Anywhoo…

The bibik forget to mention tumeric, where the dish gets it’s yellow colour from. Lucky I figured that out *flips senduk*

I think, I’m ready to …
