Last weekend was a busy weekend for my family and I. My cousin got hitched.

If you know anything about Malay wedding, it’s not 50 cents it’s filled with kecohness.

Every wedding, sure got new dress to tailor and this wedding is no exception. The initial process is always: same colour, different design or same design but different colour.

This year we set a color: Purple!

Most of us are in what I call uniform. Those who don’t want to join our fun just stick to the purple colour theme. I love this concept… Very chill pill.

These were taken on the solemnization night. I was late from office so I missed the cousin group shot but hey! I made it before the solemnization. Phew!

Our theme for that night was blue. Doesn’t matter what shade. As long as it belongs to the blue colour wheel, all is good in the hood.

In Islam, the pastor that weds the couple is called tok kadi. My dad told me that the tok kadi for my cousin was the son of his good friend. Well well well, the world is a small place ain’t it?The tok kadi might sound old due to the word tok (grandfather). But this tok kadi is young.

Tok kadi usually arrive in black blazer and black songkok. You see a guy in black blazer and black songket, you don’t have to think twice. Confirm plus chop he’s the tok kadi.

Since I was from the office, I had to wear something comfortable. I don’t have anything appropriate in blue to wear to solemnization event … I mean I have a bluish dress and an office blouse but I ain’t wearing dress to work man! Haha. So! As most assassin would wear black, so do I. Hehe

So, without further a do, let me shut up and show some pictures! 🙂

The cousins were joking that I was the female version of the tok kadi cause I was in black blazer and holding on to my cousin’s (the bride) bouquet and marriage cert.

If you must know…. I’m every woman. Bahahaha.

Checking email if anyone emailed to book an appointment for me to wed them off! Joking. Joking. Heh.
