Maximum 3

Assalamualaikum all!

Had final paper today… (technically yesterday). Since we’re in Year 3, instead of our usual 3 papers, it’s 4. The tests dates are set in such that it’s one paper one day. I’d appreciate two papers in one day since traveling to school is no joke.

Notice that I say test? Not exam? The beauty of SP Architecture is that we have no exams. Instead, we have series of tests at the end of the year and, IT’S OPEN BOOK.

In Year 1 and 2, we had 3 papers cause the 4th module had essays instead. Nevertheless, the answers that we have to give is no shorter than our HTA (History and Theory of Architecture) module. So, it’s basically the same…. -____-“

2013-02-15 09.44.16It’s funny how in Year 1 and 2, the lecturers made us zip our bags with our phones off or silent in it but not this year. Our lecturer was totally cool with it. I even listen to music while doing my test!

imagesSo do students! Haha.

Since all of us have been students before, we know how different class have different antics, right. So does mine. Just like how when I was in Primary and Secondary school, 90% of the time I’m in the most noisiest class. Ok la, who am I gonna blame right?  I contribute 70% of the noise pollution.

Back to my story.

Oh yeah, My cool lecturer. Halfway through the tests, some phone rang and other nonsense, but he just close one two eyes. Shiok kannn!!??

I’ll have a separate post for the tests later on. Haha. Too sensitive to share now. Might just be imprisoned if any of the lecturers find this blog while grading us. Haha. Or worst, I might not even get my diploma cert! The peril of the past three years is no joke and I don’t wanna go through it again. 3 is enough.

As I mentioned that yesterday was our 4th paper, reading time starts at 0950 and test commences at 1000. At 0950, half of the class was still on their way. That’s how serious tests is in our life. Haha. Not me of course. ;b

Prior to the test, the lecturer went, “This paper is not easy. It’s very tricky. You’ve gotta read it properly.”

I just went, ” Huh, alamak (malay lingo for omg) like that no need to take the test la. Cannot make it already.”

Haha. I mean I could’ve just asked for the answer key but I doubt the lecturer had it with him then. Heh

Conversation with friends on our way home.

(F): I was contemplating to come to school today. I know its a test, high weightage, but, I was sooooo tired plus the cooling cloudy weather, t’was such a challenge. But then again, I need the marks, so I had to wake up.

(S): Me too, I just couldn’t wake up this morning.

Me: Me too. I woke up earlier today but somehow got ready later. Pfft. Slept in the train like a baby some more.

(F): They should’ve squeeze at least the last 2 paper in one day. I tried studying for the test last night but, the slides were too long! Or, just have 3 papers. 4 is too much!

Me: Yaaaa!!! I know right, when I was at the lecture with 92 slides I just went Oh my god, WHAT IS THIS!!?? And 90% of the slides I saw them for the first time in my life after downloading them.

(F): Yup, just shows how often we come school. I read until the 5th slide and went to bed. Seriously, all the slides are 40+, 50+…

Me: Where got time for all those!?

(F): Exactly!

Hahahahaha…..

The things we do just to get out of school.

And yes, unless you’re one of those guai kia (good kids) or kanchong spider (Those forever in a haste kind) you probably have all the slides downloaded a week ahead.

But, I bet, most of us download the night before the test. Better still, some come to school and get the slides from other classmates.

Conversation for slides:

*Friend transfers folder containing all the slides to desktop and opened the folder*

*5mins before test starts*

(M): *looks at (F)’s desktop screen*gasp* OH.MY.GOD. THERE’S POWERPOINT SLIDES!!??

(F): Yup. You didn’t know?

(M): Why did I only see the pdfs? Eh, can transfer to me?

And so F passes her harddisk/thumbdrive.

———————————————————————————–

*Friend walks to my station*

(Z): Eh Aqilah, E is gonna be late. Can you pass your harddisk slides later.

Me: Yup yup, no prob, bruhh.

(Z): Thanks man.

*note: no communication between students during test*

In the class, sharing is totally caring.

Caring ain’t us?
